Taxonomic data
Accepted names, authorities, synonyms and native ranges come from the World Checklist of Vascular Plants (WCVP), facilitated by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, as published on GBIF (dataset publishedJune 4, 2026, licensedCC BY 4.0):The World Checklist of Vascular Plants (WCVP). Links to Plants of the World Online use identifiers from the International Plant Names Index.
IUCN Red List
Species profiles and species tables link to assessments on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. The links were found through the Red List checklist published on GBIF (dataset published July 28, 2026). BogTraps does not reproduce Red List categories or other Red List data; follow the link to read IUCN's assessment. Conservation and legal status shown on the site comes from other sources, such as the US Fish and Wildlife Service, state law, CITES and national red lists, each cited on the page.
